The Art Squad was formed in 1994 to represent South African illustrators, cartoonists and storyboard artists. Over the years we have seen several illustrators come and go but the reputation of The Art Squad has survived any single artist. Our clients trust that their illustrations will be managed closely so that not only will deadlines be met but their artwork delivered to brief. Alongside 3D photorealistic renderings, digital and traditional illustration, cartoons, graphic recordings, animated instructional videos and caricatures, a big focus of ours has always been storyboards and layouts.

Sindiso Nyoni is a self developed Graphic artist who has been described as a contemporary illustrator, activist, street-artist, and multi-disciplinary graphic designer. The Johannesburg based graphic artist, tackles some of Africa’s most pressing issues in the form of visual art. His work primarily consists of a pencil, ink, pastels, gauche, acrylic and digital media fusion, to create a subversive ‘street’ style.
