The Art Squad was formed in 1994 to represent South African illustrators, cartoonists and storyboard artists. Over the years we have seen several illustrators come and go but the reputation of The Art Squad has survived any single artist. Our clients trust that their illustrations will be managed closely so that not only will deadlines be met but their artwork delivered to brief. Alongside 3D photorealistic renderings, digital and traditional illustration, cartoons, graphic recordings, animated instructional videos and caricatures, a big focus of ours has always been storyboards and layouts.

Wesley is inspired by Africa and all its various cultures which has influenced his iconic illustration style. He works in a variety of mediums which include raster and vector graphics and has over 8 years experience in the advertising industry. He works with a variety of clients across Africa and the world from book publishers, magazines as well as advertising agencies.
